Here’s a quick breakdown of what it means for you as a customer.

Your car will literally keep itself clean. The new chemical structure means chemical resistance (protection) and water repellency (beading) have gone through the roof. The better you maintain it, the longer it wil last.

Every treatment includes wheel, window and plastic coating AND either a 5 year or INFINITE warranty.

WHY DETAIL A NEW CAR?

Because you want that freshly-detailed look after every wash. The key to your ceramic coating’s protection is in it’s super slick water, dirt & chemical repellency. This is what makes a coated car a dream to wash, taking much less time & effort to remove bird mess, dirt & grime and save your paint from fading in the sun.

However clean you keep it, there’s no avoiding wear and tear.

Your paintwork’s top layer takes a beating over time, which results in an uneven surface and faded look. Without a coating or PPF, it’s unavoidable, but not irreversable. We’re able to perform high-level, multi-layer paint correction, bringing back your deep gloss and colour. Add an Infinite coating to this, and you’ve got incredibly deep, better-than-new gloss and easy maintenance for years.

The process is the same for driven cars and new ones, all that changes is the time we spend achieving the perfect result.

Along with top of the line coatings, your INFINITE warranty means that, as long as you return for a top-up every two years (or 25,000km), we’ll reactivate your coating and keep it alive and working hard for years to come. You may also opt to maintain it yourself, using the official GYEON MainTENance Rules, for a 5 year warranty instead.

    Detailing requires hours/days of high-level focus and expertise for every centimeter of your car, so the price tag goes up quickly. If you maintain the car correctly with the right products, you will enjoy this treatment for years – eventually boosting the resale value of your car.

    QUICK DETAIL

    For special occasions we offer a quick detail to wash and prepare your car for an event. Please contact us for this, however it isn’t standard practice and we don’t set aside time for weekly washes, we specialise in full multi-stage treatments.

    You come to WAX-IT for a reason. Our pricing is an accurate combination of professional detailer work time and product costs. What we quote you is the exact worth of your treatment, and not comparable to the pricing of another company that offers another service or quality.

    AFTER CARE

    Even after your car has left WAX-IT you can feel free to call for advise on how best to maintain the high quality, and we’ll tell you exactly which products you need. All can be found on our webshop.

    PRICE VARIATION

    The guide prices across the site refer to small cars that require less product and less time for our professionals to apply it. Quite simply, the bigger or more complex the car, the more it costs to detail it.

    OFFER BREAKDOWN

    Your offer will be broken down into the different services that you will receive. Take some time to review it and, if needed, give us a call to make sure everything’s clear.

    ACCEPTING

    We don’t take silence for a yes, we need email confirmation that you’re happy with your offer and that everything’s crystal clear, otherwise the open spot could be filled.

    YOUR DEPOSIT

    Removing/moving cars in the planning can be costly, especially if we have already plotted your PPF. That’s why we ask for a deposit on the confirmation of your treatment.

    Deposit for any treatment: €250

    PLANNING

    PLAN AHEAD

    Especially for new cars, from the moment you know the estimated delivery date you should get in touch with us to plan your treatment. Even if it’s 6 months away!

    If your car is already booked in with us and the delivery date changes we can easily adjust our timing. The more time we have to plan, the smoother it will go.

    ROME WASN’T BUILT IN A DAY

    The average time a car spends at WAX-IT for a detail is 3 days to let coatings set and cure. If PPF is involved you can add an average of 1.5 days onto this. For a full PPF you can count on a 7-day stay.

    THE SPRING RUSH

    Spring is always a popular time to get a car detailed, so plan in well in advance to reserve your place. Of course, there’s no bad time to bring your car into WAX-IT and if it’s new you simply need to get it to us as soon as possible!

    DUE DATE

    We only see the true state of the paintwork once all the dirt and grime has been removed. We never deliver an unfinished car, which means this can affect the pick-up date of your car, potentially doubling its time with us.

    TRANSPORT

    OUR TRAILER

    The WAX-IT trailer is always available to pick-up and drop-off cars fully insured for a minor fee per kilometer. The trailer’s fully closed so your car is tucked up safe and sound for its entire trip.

    WHEN TO DROP OFF

    Any time during opening hours, which you can find at the top or in the footer. In exceptional circumstances we can arrange for an out-of-hours drop off. Just ask when we call about your offer.

    GETTING HOME

    1. We have a partnership with two car rentals within a 500m radius who offer cars from €38 a day excl. VAT.

    2. The train station is a 5-minute drive from WAX-IT and we’re more than happy to drop you off if needs be.

    3. Taxi / lift.

    THE PICK-UP

    The final phone call is the last step in your car’s treatment. We always call 24 hours before it’s available to be picked up. Turning up unannounced for your car is strongly discouraged as there’s no guarantee of all final checks and details being finished. You’re always welcome to call or drop by to see the work in progress.
